Wellington Indian Association (Inc) runs a Gujarati Learning Centre at Bharat Bhavan. The Gujarati Learning Centre comprises of a Gujarati Pre-school and a Gujarati school.

The aim of the Gujarati Learning Centre is to encourage better understanding of Gujarati language and to propagate the understanding of Indian culture. The emphasis is on teaching reading, writing and speaking Gujarati and enjoying and appreciating Indian culture and the Hindu religion.

The Gujarati Preschool caters for toddlers and preschool from 2 – 5 yrs.

The Gujarati School caters for 6 to 12 yr olds.

The Gujarati Learning Centre is located at Bharat Bhavan, 48 Kemp St , Kilbirnie.

Gujarati school and Gujarati Preschool comes under the umbrella of Wellington Indian Association (Inc) therefore parents of children attending either school must be a member of Wellington Indian Association (Inc)

Gujarati Pre-school and Gujarati school is open every Sunday during the school terms.
